The Delonghi EC140B Espresso & Cappuccino maker helps make the perfect crema using the stainless steel boiler and a powerful pump, to obtain the right temperature and pressure. The special Sempre crema filter holder makes 1 or 2 shots of espresso, as required.

This coffee machine also makes good steamed milk with an adjustable swivel jet frother. The 35 ounce water tank is sufficient to hold enough water for a small family and the removable water tank/ drip tray enables easy cleaning. There are separate Thermostats, one for heating water and one for making steam.

There are two thermostats, one for water and one for steam respectively. The built-in tamper helps to tamp the ground coffee accurately. There are separate switches for On/off, Espresso/ Water & Steam controls. One can make rich crema using both ground coffee beans and ESC pods.

At 8 pounds, the Delonghi EC140B Espresso & Cappuccino maker is very light weight and compact. It’s always a good practice to use filtered water to make coffee, to ensure longevity of the machine. A good burr grinder and recently roasted/ground beans makes a great crema. This machine comes with a 1-year warranty. Please note there is an initial 10 minute warm up time and the steam nozzle and filter should be cleaned occasionally. It has a single boiler, so you cannot brew and steam milk at the same time.
